The four suits contain cards from VII (Seven) through Ace. The number cards have Roman numerals. The face cards are the Jack, Noble, and King. There are no Queens. In fact, the only lady in the deck is on the Ace of Hearts. You can tell the difference between Jacks and Nobles by the location of the pip—low and high. And the Aces represent the four seasons. You can recognize them easily, even though the captions are in Hungarian. |
