The Boston T-Party Puzzle

For the 26th International Puzzle Party, held in Boston in July 2006, Kate designed a visual pun for the theme of the Boston Tea Party and presented it to the attendees in a bag with a tag to simulate tea bags. The bags were dispensed from a large boat-shaped container that assembled like a puzzle, with a tall mast and sail that served as a sign.

The T-Party puzzle consisted of 11 pieces, being all the shapes of two through four rhombs in size. They were to be formed into several "T" models and other figures, and many more designs not shown. This limited-edition design has sold out. A new, permanent version of the set of pieces, plus a single rhomb, is now the 12-piece Rhombi JR. set in its own tray, size-compatible with its big brother, Rhombiominoes. And the original T-Party leaflet shown below has expanded into the much larger activities booklet for Rhombi JR.
