  • For its sixth year, the International Festival of Mind and Doris Championship, a competition of creativity featuring our Doris puzzle, took place in 10 European countries (Serbia, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Slovenia and Bulgaria).

Beginning in October 2015 and organized by Zdravko Zivkovic, the creator of Doris, the 6th annual competitions ran for nine months, with the finalists selected by an international jury of 12 judges, among them Kate Jones from U.S.A. and Teja Krasek, an artist from Slovenia.

The Grand Final awards were presented on Sunday, May 15, 2016, in the Parliament of Vojvodina, Serbia. The top three winners were:

    • First place: Matilda Sain, Liceo Classico Dante Alighieri—Trieste, Italy: "Dolphin"

    • Second place: Dóra Törteli, Gimnazija—Senta, Serbia: "Alarm Clock"

    • Third place: Ana Gvozdenovic, Poljoprivredna Skola—Backa Topola, Serbia: "Damascus Sword"
